Incommunicado

I’ve been incommunicado for a bit, I had an offsite course at the end of last week, and dealing with Greppplet’s  Boys Brigade football and Grepppette’s  immenant school skiing trip (with attendant post-Richardson concerned grandparents). And, of course, Mothers Day visits.

Anyway, the Shield Maidens romped through the end of Posi, and swiftly morphed into another trio who, for want of a better name, we shall call the Weather Girls. And it was indeed raining men as the utter awesomeness of Ice Patch stacked with Freezing Rain turned every  mish into a bit of a turkey shoot.

The assembled cast of players…

Maiden Shibuya 16 Shield/Energy tank
Maiden Afrique 16 Shield/Battle Axe tank
Maiden US 16 Shield/Strength   tank

Misinformation 18 (woot) Elec/Elec Blaster
Hurricane Tess 24 Storm/Elec Defender
Winters Light 24 Ice/Storm Controller

Relief and Annoyance all round

Much to our relief and much to the annoyance of Grepppette, Greppplet got into the secondary school of his choice.

This means that he can set about the serious business of annoying his big sister at school from next year.

I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore Toto

First of a few posts to catch up on the week. Grepppette had her school play this week which was the The Wiz.

She was in the backing dancers (the Yellow Brick road) and also had a bit part a cop in the “Mice Squad”.

Most of the casts american accents held up fairly well (even Grepppettes), and although it many not have had the advantage of Splurge Guns, like last years Bugsy Malone, it was very well recieved.
